The team finished with an overall record of 53-16 and a winning percentage of .768. They also swept the Homestead Grays in the Negro World Series. Under Trouppeās guidance, the team captured another flag in 1947 with a record of 54-23 and a winning percentage of .701. However, the team lost the World Series to the New York Cubans in five games. |
