Evans, Felix

Born: Oct. 3, 1911 Felix was a right-handed pitcher who played from 1934 to 1949. Playing for the Memphis Red Sox in 1946, he had a 15-1 record prior to the All-Star break and earned the starting pitcher role for the West All Star team. Felix was also a very good hitter and played the outfield on occassion. |
